Description

100% Doeskin Merino Wool Varsity Jacket in navy and grebe grey, with a deerskin-like feel, supplied by the legendary and renowned British fabric supplier Hainsworth. Satin interior, one practical inside pocket. Cut-out patches on the underside of the arms in the alternative colour. Large embroidered patch on the back with a hand-drawn Matterhorn motif that changes the shades of the mountain depending on the light.

· Outer Shell: ‘Doeskin’, 100% Merino wool, tightly milled, twill weave, face finish
· The term ‘Doeskin’ originated from the similar appearance and feel of the fabric to the skin of a female deer
· Practical purpose for Doeskin fabric allows rain to run off the surface in the direction of the nap
· Light is captured on the face finish and bounces off the surface to create a lustrous sheen
· Cut out patches on both arms going into the shoulders in an alternative color
· Tailored Lining: 100% Viscose Rayon Satin
· Lining pocket on the left side
· Embroidery of the Matterhorn, Zermatt Region, hand drawing style with the company logo and Swiss cross
